Remove cap and filter from Nalgene bottle. Rinse bottle and fill with water. Insert filter and replace cap firmly. Flip cap cover to open. Squeeze bottle to flush new filter. After particle fines are removed, your portable filtration system is ready to use. Refill bottle, then squeeze for filtered water.

Use and Care Instructions:

Always use the cleanest and clearest water whenever possible. Avoid excessive silt and debris. Dirty water may prematurely clog the filter and greatly reduce the filter life. Filter may last up to 1 year under normal use conditions. The filter can be stored indefinitely before first use.

When filter is not used regularly, remove the filter and air dry before storage.

Clean bottle regularly. Always remove filter before cleaning bottle. Do not use detergents on filter.

Do not allow unit to freeze. Do not place filter in dishwasher or microwave oven. Do not run hot water through filter.

This filter is not intended for use with saltwater.
